Nota de falecimento
O Conselho Regional de Biblioteconomia da 7ª Região manifesta pesar pelo falecimento do bibliotecário Orlando de Almeida.
Orlando participou do desenvolvimento do Grupo de Profissionais em Informação e Documentação Jurídica do Rio de Janeiro (GIDJ/RJ). Coautor do livro História e trajetória do GIDJ/RJ. Atuou como bibliotecário no Instituto Nacional de Previdência Social.
Orlando teve uma contribuição ímpar para o campo da biblioteconomia. Participou da criação do CRB-7, inscrito sob o número de registro profissional nº 15.
O Conselho se solidariza com a família e os amigos de Orlando de Almeida.
