Nesta sexta-feira, dia 25 de maio, a Comissão de Articulação Política reuniu-se com o vereador de Petrópolis, Yuri Moura, para debater a respeito da instauração das leis que tratam sobre a universalização de bibliotecas em instituições de ensino, públicas e privadas, no munícipio de Petrópolis.
Foram apresentadas ao vereador, as leis de universalização de bibliotecas em instituições de ensino, Federal, Lei 12.244/10, Estadual, Lei 7.383/16 e a Lei Municipal de São Gonçalo, Lei 1095/2020.
Discutiu-se ainda, a estrutura e as condições de trabalho em bibliotecas públicas do município de Petrópolis, além da extinção do cargo de bibliotecário pela prefeitura, denunciado pelos profissionais do município.
O incentivo à criação de um Plano Municipal de Livros, Leitura e Bibliotecas também foi tema de discussão, onde se enfatizou a importância da construção desse plano não apenas para a classe bibliotecária, mas também para o mercado livreiro, autores, pequenos editores, ilustradores, artistas e todos os profissionais que atuam com publicações.
Finalizando a reunião ficaram como tarefas a serem realizadas pelo mandato do vereador, o envio de requerimentos de informação para a Secretaria Municipal de Educação de Petrópolis e para o Instituto Municipal de Cultura e Esportes do Município. A análise da viabilidade de criação de uma lei que reforce a obrigatoriedade da instalação de bibliotecas em instituições de ensino no município. E a possibilidade de indicação para o executivo da necessidade de criação de um Grupo de Trabalho para estudo e criação de um Plano Municipal de Livro, Leitura e Biblioteca em Petrópolis.
Estiveram presentes no encontro o vereador Yuri Moura, Licia Gomes da assessoria do vereador, Dayo Côrbo (Vice-Presidente do Conselho Regional de Biblioteconomia, 7ª Região), Marcelo Marques (Ex-Presidente do Conselho Regional de Biblioteconomia, 7ª Região), Priscila Côrbo (Conselheira do Conselho Regional de Biblioteconomia, 7ª. Região), Sergio Wilson (Vice-Presidente do Sindicato dos Bibliotecários do Rio de Janeiro – SINDIB-RJ), Mayara das Dores Alves e Lorena Cristiano, bibliotecárias que residem e trabalham no município de Petrópolis.
